A non-governmental organization in Chechnya reported an air raid in the neighborhood of the settlement of Alkhazurovo

In the South-West of Chechnya military aviation of federal forces applied a bombing-missile attack at a woodland in the neighbourhood of one of the settlements. This was reported by representatives of a non-governmental organization. The military neither confirm nor disprove this information.

The "Caucasian Knot" correspondent referring to Union of non-governmental organizations of Chechnya reports that on December, 2, a military aircraft bombarded a woodland at the foothill Urus-Martan district of Chechnya. "Residents of the settlement of Alkhazurovo reported that the woodland in the neighbourhood of the settlement underwent air bombardment. The military aircraft made several approaches to the forest and applied a bombing-missile attack. The bombardment caused panic among the population, especially women and children, though the attack took place beyond the range of the settlement", a representative of the non-governmental organization informed.

Members of military commandant's office of Chechnya neither confirmed nor disproved the fact of the use of military aviation in the foothill area of the republic. A representative of the office refused to answer the question why the military aircraft attacked the woodland in Urus-Martan district explaining it by the lack of data.
