At rally in Vladikavkaz, Djioeva's supporters demand to recognize her as President

Today, in the capital of North Ossetia, at a rally near the Cinema "Terek", supporters of Alla Djioeva demanded to recognize her as the President of South Ossetia.

The rally of Djioeva's supporters in Vladikavkaz was organized through social networks. It was attended by about 100 people. Law enforcement agents did not prevent the protest action, the of the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent reports.

"The opposition located in South Ossetia asserts its rights, since they have fairly won. People are tired of this power. Even if the devil himself were against Bibilov and against Kokoev, they would vote for him. At present, the only way out is to pass power to the duly elected president, who has actually won the election. And a peaceful life will come," said Olesya Khugaeva, a participant of the action.

"I come from Tskhinvali, but I live in Vladikavkaz. I myself voted in both the first and the second round and I want to say that people have made their choice. About 15,000 people voted for Alla Alekseevna Djioeva. If there is information of the Central Election Commission, so why should she fail to really insist on that? And, besides, people ask her to take up her duties. I believe that the government should give power to the elected president. I do not want bloodshed. I want everything to end well," said a woman, who preferred to remain anonymous.

Elvira Tedeeva, a resident of South Ossetia, believes that this situation requires support of the Russian government.

"People believe that the only power, the most important one, is in the people's hands. The people took rise, despite their living conditions, despite all that they have experienced. At present, the power is been usurped in the country. The people cannot be humiliated," said Elvira Tedeeva.
