In Makhachkala, Rizvan Kurbanov speaks at rally against kidnappings and arbitrariness of power agents

In Dagestan, rally against kidnappings and arbitrariness of power agents was held. According to various estimates, it was attended by 2500-3000 people.

Participants of the rally held responsibility of the situation in the republic for law enforcement agents, and in default of its terms have promised to hold such stocks weekly.

The lawyer Ziyavudin Uvaisov told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent that organizers and activists, who participated in the today's rally, were invited to the Republic's Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA). The invitation was sent by the President through Rizvan Kurbanov, First Deputy Prime Minister of Dagestan, who came to the rally. Magomed Dibirov, Deputy Prosecutor of the republic, also came to the rally.

Rizvan Kurbanov spoke at the rally and said that he came under instructions of the President. He also stated that no statement on violations committed by power agents would be ignored and that anyone could visit him.

Besides, Rizvan Kurbanov has emphasized that the republic's authorities do everything possible to find Rasul Magomedov, the teacher of Russian language and literature of the Balakhani secondary school, who had disappeared in Makhachkala on November 17 under unidentified circumstances.

When the leader of the rally asked the participants whether they believed Rizvan Kurbanov, the people chanted: "No, we do not believe."

The participants of the rally adopted a resolution, which stated that the republic faced a real civil war and law enforcement agents, practicing illegal methods in their work, were partly responsible for the situation.
