Magomed Markhiev wounded in Ingushetia got his leg dismembered

Magomed Markhiev, ex-Vice Premier of Ingushetia, Head of republican social insurance fund, was operated on as a result of a robbery assault. His leg was dismembered and he is still in a grave state.

The assault at Markhiev was committed in Nazran, on November, 19. According to the police, three unidentified masked people burst into his house, wounded him in his legs from firearms, beat up his wife and escaped stealing golden items to a sum of about 200 thousand rubles.

He was operated on in the Republican Clinic of Nazran. “His right leg was dismembered. Magomed Markhiev’s state is stably grave”, a representative of the Ministry of Public Health of Ingushetia said to the “Caucasian Knot” correspondent.

According to the Ministry, Magomed Markhiev is expected to be taken to one of the hospitals of Moscow in two days. As of today, his state has stabilized but still remains grave. The physicians are trying to save his left leg.
