The second stage of the action "Report the place of death traffic!" started in Chechnya

Today the second stage of the all-Russian anti-narcotic action "Report the place of death traffic!" which will last till November, 18, started in Chechnya.

Within the week the citizens of the republic can report any facts of sales or use of narcotic substances they know or any other information concerning illegal drug traffic to the hot-lines of the republican or regional Department of Federal Drug Control Service (DFDCS)

Earlier, the "Caucasian Knot" reported that during the first stage of the all-Russian anti-narcotic action "Report the place of death traffic!" held from March, 10, till March, 18, four crimes in the sphere of illegal drug or psychotropic substances traffic were detected in Chechnya. Seven persons were detained in different districts of the republic for storage, use and sale of narcotic substances and 200 gram of drugs confiscated then.

"We hope this time the citizens will manifest high consciousness again and report all the cases of traffic and use of drug or psychotropic substances they know to law enforcement bodies", members of DFDCS of Chechnya say.

During the period from January till October drug policemen in Chechnya detected 268 crimes connected with illegal drug or psychotropic substances traffic. About 15,5 kg drugs, including more than 700 gram heroin and over 13,7 kg marijuana were impounded from illicit traffic.

Besides, the "Caucasian Knot" reported that within the framework of the operation "Poppy-2011" carried out from May till the end of October 210,1 ton of wild hemp were found and destroyed in the republic.
