A native of Armenia won the contest "Miss Eurasia"

On November, 6, the first contest "Miss Eurasia" passed off in Blagoveshensk. Representatives of Russia, Moldova, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Uzbekistan and Armenia took part in it. Stela Kirakosyan, native of Armenia, became the winner.

"Every year we carry out various projects of international format, Karo Zhakmochian, Deputy Chairman of the Armenian Community of Amur region, said to us. - Last year it was an international KVN ("Club of the Funny and Inventive"), this year it is an international beauty contest. All the actions have one and the same goal: to consolidate many peoples residing in the territory of Russia regardless of their religions and cultures".

The nominees for the "Miss" title demonstrated their skills in six contests: "carte-de-visite", video presentation, "talent contest", answered the jury's questions, demonstrated folk costumes and evening dresses.

Upon the results of the trial, Sabina Giyanova, representative of Azerbaijan, took the third place, Shahnoza Motaeva from Uzbekistan got the second place and the title of "First Vice-Miss". The first place and the main prize, a diamond necklace, was won by representative of Armenia Stela Kirakosyan. The girl is the last-year student of Medical Academy, "Tert.am" reports.

"Many thanks to my family and friends who helped me and were present at rehearsals. I thank the community who entrusted me the mission of representing the Armenian girls. This victory is very important for me but I will not repose on my laurels. The main thing for me now is to graduate in order to help people become healthy", the winner said.

Next year we are planning a greater contest. According to Zhakmochian, there are preliminary agreements of organizing the next "Miss Eurasia" in the island of Hainan with participation of representatives of over 30 countries, IA "Port Arthur" reports.
