A serviceman from Azerbaijan killed in the zone of Karabakh conflict

A lieutenant of Azerbaijani army was killed in the zone of Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, Press service of the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan reported.

"Aliev Emin Elmar ogly (born in 1986), lieutenant of Azerbaijani army, perished as a result of a bullet wounding caused by violation of cease-fire regime by Armed Forces of Armenia", Teimur Abdullaev, Deputy Head of Press Service of the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan, reported.

He said that the accident took place on November, 2, "SalamNews" reports.

According to Military Prosecutor's Office of Azerbaijan, a criminal case on the fact of death of the officer of Azerbaijani National Army lieutenant Aliev Emin Elmar ogly in the settlement of Kuropatkino, Khojavend district, was initiated according to clause of the Criminal code of Azerbaijan "deliberate murder on national, racial and religious hatred or hostility grounds".

According to Military Prosecutor's Office, the site of the accident was inspected and an expertise appointed, "Trend" reports.

The lost officer was a nephew of Lianlkiaran Aliev, Chief of Department of Staff services of Academy of Armed Forces.

"As far as I know, Emin became Shakhid defending his soldiers. He was struck by the enemy's sniper bullet and died for his Motherland. I can only be proud of it", "APA" quotes Major General Lianlkiaran Aliev.

"Nagorno-Karabakh Defense Army remains loyal to cease-fire regime. The information that the lieutenant of Azerbaijani army perished as a result of violation of cease-fire regime by Nagorno-Karabakh Defense Army is untrue", "NEWS.am" quotes a statement of Press service of Nagorno-Karabakh Defense Army.
