Radical vegetarians held a picket in Rostov-on-Don

A picket of a vegetarian organization "First Stage" passed off in the center of Rostov-on-Don. Several tens young people called for the by-passers to reject meat, milk and eggs.

Among the calls at the picket on November, 1, there was also an appeal to reject clothes from firs, leather and wool.

A special point of the program of the "First Stage" is struggle against the use of animals for experiments.

"We demand abolition of vivisection!", "Release your slaves, become a vegan!". These were the picketers' slogans, IA "Yuzhny Region" reports.

The picket was timed the Vegan Day celebrated on November, 1. The Vegans are radical vegetarians who do not use products of zoic origin.

Rostov vegetarians also stated their readiness to strive for maintenance of pets' cemetery in the regional center, "Rostov News Agency" reports.

Earlier, the "Caucasian Knot" reported that in August the "First Stage" picketed guest performances of the Circus of Zapashny brothers declaring that its personnel treated animals inhumanely.
