Three persons, killed in car in Dagestan, identified

Three people, who on October 16 were found shot in a car, were residents of the Sergokalin District of Dagestan. This was reported by the representative of the Investigatory Department of the Russian Investigatory Committee (IC) of the republic to the correspondent of the "Caucasian Knot".

Let us remind you that in the evening of October 16 the burnt-out Niva car with bullet holes was found on the 22nd kilometre of the highway Manas-Sergokala of the Karabudakhkent District. Two badly charred bodies were inside the car. Another body of a man with gunshot wounds in different parts of the body was found on the side of the highway.

"Preliminary, the dead people were identified as residents of the village of Myurego; they are: a 57-year-old Magomedali Bagomedov, a 36-year-old Kadimagomed Zagirbekov, Shamil Abdullaev. None of them had been put in the wanted list or registered by the police," stated the IC officer.

"The relatives say that they just went on a hunt, and no one knows what had happened then. The investigators consider several versions; however, they have no primary version yet," said the source.

According to him, the following items had been taken from the place: four shells of 9 mm calibre, nine shells of 5.45 mm calibre, 34 shells of 7.62 mm calibre, the RIA "Dagestan" reports. A criminal case was initiated under three articles of the Russian Criminal Code: "murder of two or more persons", "illegal traffic of weapons and ammunition" and "intentional destruction of other people's property". Guilty persons will face sentence to imprisonment, up to life imprisonment, the RIA "Novosti" reports.
