Relatives of Yakhyaev, kidnapped in Dagestan, organize picket in central Makhachkala

 

In Makhachkala, relatives of Rustam Yakhyaev, who was taken away to some unknown destination by armed people, are going for the picket in the central square of the capital of Dagestan. According to the relatives of the kidnapped, Yakhyaev is kept in the building of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) and he is accused of murder of Murtazaliev, Deputy Chief of the Department of the Federal Penitentiary Service (known as FSIN). This is reported by the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that, according to the Yakhyaev's relatives, on October 13, about 7:00 p.m. in Makhachkala, the armed people drove away the 35-year-old Rustam Yakhyaev to some unknown destination. According to his relatives, Rustam Yakhyaev is kept at the Centre for combating extremism (former Division No. 6).

"Rustam is at the MIA's building and he is being tortured," the relatives of Yakhyaev told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.

The relatives of the kidnapped demand that evidences against Rustam Yakhyaev should be presented or he should be released. Also, according to their information, Yakhyaev is accused of murder of Murtazaliev, Deputy Chief of the Department of the Federal Penitentiary Service (known as FSIN), which occurred on September 23 in the village of Semender on the outskirts of Makhachkala. Together with Murtazaliev, his daughter, nephew and driver were killed in that accident.

"Rustam could not kill Murtazaliev, since at that time he was in his native village and was building a house," his relatives assert.

At the moment, the relative of Yakhyaev are going to organize the picket in Makhachkala.

The Dagestani MIA stated that they did not detain Yakhyaev.
