MIA: in Dagestan, lawyer and investigator detained for bribery

The agents of the FSB Department of Dagestan detained a lawyer and an investigator into especially important cases of the investigatory department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) of the republic for taking a bribe amounting to 1 million roubles. This was reported by the press service of the Dagestani MIA.

"On October 10, the FSB Department of Dagestan received a complaint from a resident of the republic that he had been extorted money for non-initiation of criminal case on the alleged fraud," stated the press service.

"During inspection of this complaint, on October 13 lawyer and investigator were detained red-handed at getting money in the amount of 1 million roubles," the website of Dagestani MIA reports.
