Resident of Ingushetia claims disappearance of his son

Isa Sheikhov, a resident of the village of Srednie Achaluki of Malgobek District of Ingushetia claims disappearance of his son Bilan Sheikhov. He does not rule out that his son was kidnapped and that power agents might be involved in the incident.

According to Isa Sheikhov, his son disappeared in the evening of October 3, when he went from his mother to him. Isa' mobile phone number stopped responding, his search yielded no results. Only on the next day, an abandoned car of Sheikhov was found near the pond in the village of Plievo of the Nazran District.

"At about 9:15 p.m. my son drove his car from his mother. We with my wife live separately, and Bilan lives with me. He did not reach my house, so we got worried and started asking people living near, but we learnt nothing. Then his car was found in Plievo. The door of the car was broken out. Apparently, he was forced out and kidnapped. At the moment, we have no information about the fate of my son," Isa Sheikhov told the" Caucasian" correspondent.

Relatives of the disappeared man believe that he was kidnapped by power agents.

"During several days, power agents had been conducting surveillance next to our house. Bilan himself told us that while coming back home the other day, he noticed military men in ambush over the hill. He saw a muzzle of a machine gun," says the father of the disappeared man.

According to him, his son had no enemies, no blood feuds. "And we are sure that my son was kidnapped by power agents and torture him. We intend to demand power agents to return my son. If he is guilty of something, then prove it in court and punish him," says Isa Sheikhov.

He also stated that appealed to all, who knew anything about what had happened to Bilan, to help "return the son alive, till it was not too late".
Comments of law enforcement officials regarding the disappearance of Bilan Sheikhov and possible surveillance over him are still not available.
