Rostov-on-Don: opposition holds "Day of Wrath"

On August 12 in Rostov-on-Don, representatives of the opposition held one more protest within the action "Day of Wrath".

The "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was told by Vladislav Ryazantsev, the coordinator of the movement "Left Front" in the Rostov Region, movement's activists hung a five -meter banner with the slogan "It's Time to Replace Power!" across the bridge at the intersection of Sholokhov and Rossiyskaya Streets.

"This protest was dated to the All-Russian action "Day of Wrath" to demand a change of the leadership and the socio-political development of the country. Many drivers and passengers of the vehicles saw the banner," said Vladislav Ryazantsev.

He also reminded that earlier in the year, the "Day of Wrath" in Rostov-on-Don was prohibited eight times by the city administration, and the very protest actions involved police intervention and detentions.
