Woman from North Ossetia demands to investigate her husband's disappearance in Ingushetia

Ruslan Poshev, a resident of the village of Dongaron of the Prigorodny District of the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania, who had disappeared on this May 14, was still not on the federal wanted list. This was reported by his wife Marina Posheva. Representatives of the authorities and investigators say they are investigating the disappearance of Poshev and have initiated by this fact the criminal cases under the articles of murder and kidnapping.

The Poshev's wife told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent that she had appealed to the Investigatory Committee of Ingushetia: "I was told that they had prepared all the documents; however, they did not know why the criminal investigation department had taken no actions so far."

On July 29, Marina Posheva met with Akhmed Kotiev, Secretary of the Security Council of Ingushetia. "I asked why they did not search after my husband yet. Firstly, he began to assert that he had no right to it; then he phoned to somebody and promised that my husband's search would be announced today," the woman says.

Akhmed Kotiev explained to the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent that the law enforcement agencies had received a statement from the Poshev's relatives about his disappearance and that the criminal case was initiated by this fact.

"He is being searched after; all the law enforcement agencies are assigned to identify his whereabouts. The case is controlled by the President of the Republic," reminded Mr Kotiev.

According to Kotiev, the Poshev's car had been found in the territory of Ingushetia, and from this fact the Secretary of the Security Council concluded that the resident of North Ossetia had disappeared in the territory of Ingushetia.

According Djambulat Ozdoev, Commissioner for Human Rights in Ingushetia, the Poshev's wife appealed with a statement which was sent to the Investigatory Committee of the Republic. He assured that he would keep this case under his control.
