Dagestani leader promises to support "AgroDagItaly"

At a meeting with representatives of the LLC "Sofrakht-Invest" on the investment project "Establishment and Development of the Agricultural Industrial Park "AgroDagItaly", which was held on July 29, the Dagestan leader Magomedsalam Magomedov called the project "one of the most interesting, attractive, and socially significant" and promised his support for the project.

The project "AgroDagItaly" was presented at the Economic Forum held in Dagestan on July 27-28. It involves the turnkey construction of the agro-industrial manufacture facilities for the breeding of high quality seeds of agricultural crops, young pedigree animals, ecologically clean livestock products and their processing. The project stipulates at least 14 billion roubles of private investments.

According to Magomedsalam Magomedov, the project will be given a priority status and that will allow the project to apply for all forms of the state support – the republic's participation in the infrastructure development, the provision of state guarantees to attract credit resources, and the tax remissions.

The project "AgroDagItaly" implies the development of unique agricultural industrial manufactures in cooperation with agricultural food, processing, facility and resource producing companies and trading houses.

According to Umakhan Umakhanov, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the LLC "Sofrakht-Invest", they plan to develop a system of relations between the state, agricultural business, farmers, research institutions and commercial banks, to develop the credit, service, consumer and industrial cooperation, the latest energy saving technologies, the economic mechanisms of self-government, self-regulation, self-sustainability, self-financing, self-sufficiency and self-organization.

Rizvan Kurbanov, Dagestani First Deputy Prime, told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent that the project would create several thousand jobs and build new micro-districts with houses for the local residents working at the project objects.
