Ingushetia: Zurab Albogachiev was kidnapped by people in camouflage, his relatives assert

On July 20 in Ingushetia, Zurab Kambulatovich Albogachiev, born in 1985, disappeared after being detained by law enforcement agents, his relatives report.

According to their story, Zurab was kidnapped by men in camouflage uniform. They first beat the young man; then forced him into a car and drove away to some unknown destination.

According to Umalat Gaziev, a relative of the disappeared Zurab Albogachiev (he is a brother of Albogachiev's wife), the incident occurred around 10:00 p.m. Zurab together with his friend was sitting in his car near the taxi parking station in Kartoev Street in the city of Nazran. The young people were approached by men in camouflage in two cars without license number plates. "They asked for Zurab's permit to bear a traumatic handgun," the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was told by Umalat Gaziev.

When Zurab Albogachiev opened his bag aiming to take the documents out, one of the attackers hit him on the head; others started kicking him when he fell down. His friend saw a pistol put to his head and was ordered to "stay put". Then, the assailants forced Zurab Albogachiev into one of their cars and drove away. Moreover, according his relative, they also hijacked Albogachiev's Lada-10 car.

"We, Zurab's relatives, have appealed to all instances: the Ingush Security Council, the Prosecutor's Office of Nazran, the local GOVD (City Interior Division) and the Investigatory Committee; but three days have passed and we have received no answer. Everywhere we hear the same: we don't know where Zurab Albogachiev is; we don't keep him," Umalat Gaziev gave his comment on the situation.

The kidnapped person has his sick bedridden father and sick mother at home. The parents applied for help to local Muftiat, human rights organizations and media, but, according to their story, these appeals were helpless yet.
