Two churchmen wounded in Dagestan

At night on July 16, unidentified person shelled a car with the imam of the village mosque and the deputy imam of the Untsukul District; both churchmen were hospitalized.

"At about 2:00 a.m. Moscow time, in the Untsukul District of Dagestan, an unidentified person opened fire at the car, which carried Ashilta Budunov, the imam of the village, and Magomedov, deputy imam of the Untsukul District of Dagestan. Both churchmen were taken to hospital," said the spokesman of the Investigatory Department of the ICRF for Dagestan.

According to his story, the venue is studied by the investigatory-operative team of the Investigatory Department of the ICRF for Dagestan; the details of the incident are established, the RIA "Novosti" reports.
