Mass brawl with use of firearms bursts out in North Ossetia

In the evening on July 8 a mass brawl of young people with use of traumatic pistols and cold weapons took place in the Mozdok District of North Ossetia; as a result, two persons were injured and hospitalized, said the regional press service of the MIA.

On July 8, at about 7:00 p.m. Moscow time in the quarry "Karskiy", Mozdok District, where people from nearby settlements usually have rest around the water body, a quarrel burst out among locals and guests from the Republic of Ingushetia, which grew into a mass brawl. It was established that the quarrel burst out between two relaxing groups, which were intoxicated," said a spokesman from the local MIA.

The press service of the republic's MIA added that a 22-year-old resident of the Ingush city of Malgobek, suspected of stabbing a resident of the North-Ossetian city of Kizlyar, was put into the local IVS (temporary detention facility), the RIA "Novosti" reports.

A criminal case was initiated by the Investigatory Department of the Mozdok ROVD (District Interior Division).
