Nalchik: local resident killed in special operation

Today about 11:30 a.m. Moscow time Alim Amshokov, a local resident, born in 1983, was killed near the bridge over the Nalchik River in Keshokov Street in the capital of Kabardino-Balkaria during a special operation.

According to the law enforcement authorities, at detention Alim Amshokov rendered armed resistance and shot back from a TT handgun. The man was shot by return fire.

"Alim Amshokov was not in a wanted list. However, earlier he was sentenced of a serious crime," reported a representative from the Investigative Department of the Committee of Inquiry of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic (KBR).
