Alleged militants liquidated today in Dagestan identified

The names of the members of the armed underground, who were killed today in a special operation in Kizilyurt, have become known. They are Arthur Dalgatov, born in 1985, and his common-law wife Aminat Darbisheva, born in 1990, said the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) of Dagestan.

At night on June 30 two suspected militants, a man and a woman, were blocked in Kizilyurt at No. 74 Gagarin Street.

"After unsuccessful negotiations, they opened fire at the police. During the shooting the two gunmen were killed; nobody was hurt from among law enforcers," said a Dagestani policeman.

During the search of the apartment, agents found a pistol, a submachine gun, grenades and a bottle with Molotov cocktail, the RIA "Novosti" reports.
