Members of the top bras believe Dokku Umarov is hiding himself in the mountains of Ingushetia

The power ministries of Chechnya consider that after undergoing a course of therapy in Turkey leader of North-Caucasian armed underground Dokku Umarov may be staying in the territory of Ingushetia.

Umarov came back and several weeks ago he held a conference with leaders of the gunmen in Jeirakhan canyon, an officer of the republican power ministries says.

“There is an information that the gangsters are planning a series of resonant acts of terror in Krasnodar and Astrakhan regions. It cannot be ruled out that subversive terror acts may be also committed in the territories of Chechnya, Ingushetia and Dagestan”, the officer said.

“Umarov may be still staying in Jeirakhan district from where he can move to Georgia or hide himself in a forest and mountainous area at the border of Achkhoi-Martan district of Chechnya and Sunzha district of Ingushetia”, the source states.

However, Head of Chechnya Ramzan Kadyrov declared that there was “no need” to comment on Dokku Umarov’s location, death or state of health.

“There are no grounds yet to say that he is alive, neither are there reasons to think he is dead. Therefore we must take into consideration a menace from him. He is dangerous. We must find and neutralize him”, web-site of the Ministry of Interior Affairs quotes Ramzan Kadyrov.
