Ella Kesaeva: "Beslan Memory" to re-apply for registration to North-Ossetian Ministry of Justice

Despite the refusal to register the public association "Beslan Memory", its activists are going to correct the mistakes indicated by the Ministry of Justice of North Ossetia and re-submit documents for registration. The "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was told about it by Ella Kesaeva, leader of the movement "Voice of Beslan".

"Of course, we will again apply for registration; however, paying eight thousand only to prove - not to ourselves, but to others, - that they won't register us in any case is an expensive experiment. We are sure that they'll never register us."

However, Irina Slanova, Deputy Minister of Justice of North Ossetia-Alania said that "everything was according to the law."

Let us remind you that the Ministry of Justice of North Ossetia refused to register the public organization "Beslan Memory". Ella Kesaeva believes that it happened because the authorities try to hide some facts about the Beslan tragedy.

The division of non-commercial organizations (NCOs) of the Ministry of Justice of North Ossetia told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent that the refusal to register "Beslan Memory" was caused only by the mistakes in submitted documents.

According to Ella Kesaeva, authoritative Russian human rights activists helped them in drawing up the registration documents; therefore, the detected mistakes are not such at all.

"We won't go to court; we know what local courts are like, as we write a book about courts in North Ossetia... We'll go on trying to register our organization 'Beslan Memory' according to the existing legal procedure," Ella Kesaeva told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.
