France allocates 200 workplaces for citizens of Georgia

Citizens of Georgia will be able to work legally in the territory of France; 200 jobs have been allocated for this purpose, said Giorgi Vashadze, Deputy Minister of Justice of Georgia.

"Now, our citizens can go to France and get officially employed there. Of course, the list of occupations is restricted, but those whom it suits will be able to get a working French visa through a simplified procedure," said Vashadze.

Georgia also holds negotiations on the issue of legal employment of its citizens with other EU countries. At the moment, negotiations are ongoing with the Czech Republic, the "Interfax" reports.

Employment is one of the most exciting problems for Georgians. Besides, they are worried about the price on utilities and the low level of democracy in their country. These are the conclusions made on the basis of public opinion studies conducted in major cities of country by the Caucasian Centre of Research Resource.
