Karabakh soldier killed on border with Azerbaijan

As reported by the press service of the Defence Army of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR), yesterday, on April 28, as a result of the fire opened from the Azerbaijani side, Vazgen Bakhshyan, a conscript of the Defence Army, was shot dead.

The press service reports that the incident occurred yesterday at 4:15 p.m. local time (3:15 Moscow time) at one of the positions in the southeast (Martuni) direction of the contact line of the Karabakh and Azerbaijani armed forces.

Vazgen Bakhshyan, born in 1992, a regular soldier of the Defence Army of the NKR, was wounded in the head by a shot from the Azerbaijani side and died on the way to the military hospital.

The details of the incident are cleared out; so far, the Azerbaijani party made no comments on the incident.
