Public prosecutor's office discovered infringements in the work of medical institutions of Karachay-Cherkessia

Public prosecutor's office of Karachay district of the Republic of Karachay-Cherkessia has carried out an inspection of sanitary and technical state of medioprophylactic institutions of the district. Five outpatients' clinics, eleven first-aid and obstetric stations and two district hospitals underwent the inspection. 

"The majority of them are in an aggrieving state. In particular, the first-aid and obstetric stations in the auls of Khurzuk, Verkhny Uchkulan, Kart Jurt, Verkhny Kamennomost, Nizhniaya Mara and the village of Belaya Gora are not equipped with water supply and sewage systems, centralized hot water supply", Natella Makova, representative of Press service of Public prosecutor's office of KCR, reported. 

According to her, the outpatients' clinic and outpatients' department of the district hospital in the aul of Uchkhulan also need complete overhaul. It is necessary to repair roentgenologic and physiotherapy units and the kitchen in Pravokubanskaya district hospital. Outpatients' clinics in the auls of Kumish, Verkniaya Teberda and the settlement of K. Khetagurov are located in unfit buildings with no necessary space. 

Besides, outpatients' clinics do not have enough of medical personnel. In connection with the discovered infringements district Public prosecutor has initiated an administrative infraction case against Head of the Department of Public Health of the Administration of Karachay municipal district.

"The penalty for the officials for these infringements makes from 1000 to 2000 rubles", Natella Makova added.
