Concert devoted to 15th anniversary of creation of Moscow Memorial

A concert devoted to the 15th anniversary of the creation of Moscow Memorial is to take place at the grand hall of the city administration on December 11.

In the late 1980s, the Memorial Society was the largest human rights organization in the country. Later Memorial has continued to expand its activity in different directions (historical and educational work, activities to perpetuate the memory of victims of repressions, human rights protection, charitable work). Memorial kept and keeps on playing a noticeable part in the making of civil society in Russia.

Before the concert, Moscow Government officials, Moscow Memorial's colleagues and friends will make their salutatory speeches. Thanks will be given to Memorial veterans - members of the Association of Persons Suffered from Political Repressions.
