In Dagestan, soldier accidentally wounds OMON fighter

On March 24, in the village of Gubden, Karabudakhkent District of Dagestan, a soldier of Interior Troops of the Russian MIA mistakenly shelled a car with his colleague - an OMON (special militia) fighter - inside. The latter was hospitalized with a minor injury.

The incident occurred yesterday at 11:40 a.m., when the soldier tried to stop an UAZ car, driven by an OMON-1 fighter from the Dagestani MIA. When the car did not react to the demand to stop, the soldier opened fire from his submachine gun.

As a result, the soldier was wounded in his arm, the "Rosbalt" reports.
