In Ingushetia, power agents search rights defender's house

Currently, policemen from the Sunzha ROVD (District Interior Division) from Ingushetia are searching the house of Zurab Tsechoev, an employee of the human rights organization "MASHR", located in the village of Troitskaya, Sunzha District. The "Caucasian Knot" was informed about it by Vakha Chapanov, head of the Ingush News Agency "Maximum".

According to Chapanov, the search is conducted in the absence of the householder. No search warrant was presented by policemen to Tsechoev's family. Chapanov does not rule out that the actions of power agents may have to do with the fact that yesterday, on March 23, Zurab Tsechoev took part in the rally in Nazran.
