Magomed Gorchkhanov asks for help in searching his brother Ilez kidnapped in Ingushetia

On March 22, Magomed Gorchkhanov, a resident of the village of Plievo in Ingushetia, addressed his applications to the authorities of Ingushetia and human rights activists asking them to help in searching his kidnapped brother Ilez Gorchkhanov and protect his constitutional rights.

The applications are addressed to Yunus-Bek Evkurov, head of the Republic of Ingushetia; Yuri Turygin, Public Prosecutor of Ingushetia; Magomed Mutsolgov, leader of the Autonomous Non-Commercial Organization (ANO) "MASHR"; and Timur Akiev, head of the Ingush office of the Human Rights Centre (HRC) "Memorial". This is stated in the message of the Regional Public Movement "Chechen Committee for National Salvation", which was received by the "Caucasian Knot".

As reported by Magomed Gorchkhanov, the kidnapping of his brother - Gorchkhanov, Ilez Mussaevich, born in 1984, - was committed on March 21 in the time interval from 2:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. from the bus station of the city of Nazran. According to eyewitnesses, there were about 15 kidnappers; most of them were in camouflage, others - in civilian clothes, but faces of all of them were covered with rag masks.

Ilez got out of his VAZ-2114 car, made just a few steps and was attacked by five or six persons, who forced him into a silvery Lada Priora car. The kidnappers were talking Russian (without accent) and Ingush.

Magomed Gorchkhanov asserts that the kidnappers were power agents, because those standing in the cordon had armoured shields.

The kidnappers also hijacked Ilez's car and drove toward the roundabout in the intersection of Oskanov Street and Bazorkin Avenue in Nazran. "Just in 10-20 minutes we were called and told that Ilez's car was found abandoned on the shoulder of the highway Magas-Kantyshevo, near the post located in the Federal Highway 'Kavkaz'," said the applicant.

According to his story Ilez works for the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Ingushetia and never did anything illegal.
