A "Spartak" fan attacked in the Moscow metro

In the evening of March, 17, a native of Northern Caucasus assaulted two young fans of "Spartak" football club with a knife, officials of law enforcement bodies of Moscow reported.

The incident happened at about 22:00 Moscow time near "Park Kulturi" metro station when the train was in the station-to-station block. According to eyewitnesses, the attacker was in an inadequate state.

"He started accosting in an aggressive manner to two young men wearing scarves with "Spartak" football club logo on their necks, a source in law enforcement bodies said. - A quarrel started during which he snatched up a knife and the young men got superficial knife wounds as a result. At that moment the train reached the station where the man was detained by militiamen who were on duty in the platform".

The wounded fans were taken to hospital. The attacker was hospitalized, too. The experts suspect that "he either had a drug intoxication or was in an inadequate mental state". According to our source, operative agents found out that the attacker was a native of Dagestan, "Interfax" reports.

Meanwhile, according to another version, a scuffle between "Spartak" fans and the passengers occurred in a train of the Moscow metro before a game of "Spartak" with the Dutch team "Ajax". "The scuffle between "Spartak" fans and metro passengers happened at about 20:00 in a carriage after which the fighters ran out into the platform of "Park Kulturi" station where they continued the fight", another source in Moscow law enforcement bodies reported.

According to preliminary data, up to ten people took part in the scuffle. Most of them were successfully detained by militiamen, GZT.ru writes.
