Adygea debuts at international tourist fair in Berlin

The delegation of Adygea is for first time participating in the ITB international tourism fair held in Berlin on March 9-12.

The republic has brought to Berlin its proposals on eco-tourism and active forms of rest and recreation.

"This is a very serious event; the republic has long prepared for it by receiving strong support of German NABU environmental organization, which has its representative office in Adygea," said Vladimir Petrov, Chairman of the Committee on Tourism and Resorts of Adygea. "In our opinion, eco-tourism is what may be interesting to Germans."

According to his story, there are already examples when German tourists choose their routes and book hotel rooms in Adygea on the Internet.

"We want to streamline the flow of German tourists. We have what to offer them and where to accommodate them: today the republic has enough hotels and resorts, which meet tourists' demands in price and quality. They are mainly 2-3-star facilities, but there are objects claiming for the 4-star level," said Vladimir Petrov.
