Head of logistics of GUVD of Northern Caucasus arrested on bribery suspicion

By decision of the court, Vladimir Galda, Head of the Logistics Centre of the GUVD (Chief Interior Department) of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) of Russia for the North-Caucasian Federal District (NCFD), was put into custody as a suspect of taking a bribe of 1.2 million roubles.

"At the request of the Pyatigorsk Inter-District Investigatory Division of the Territorial Investigatory Department of the Investigatory Committee of the Russian Federation (ICRF), the court decided to put the militia colonel, head of the Logistics Centre of the GUVD of the MIA for the NCFD, into custody," said Ekaterina Danilova, senior assistant of the head of the Territorial Investigatory Department.

She has added that currently investigatory actions are underway aimed to fix the evidences of the crime committed by the suspect, the "Interfax" reports.
