Azerbaijan claims shelling by Nagorno-Karabakh on the eve of OSCE monitoring

Under the mandate of a personal envoy of the OSCE Chairman, the next OSCE monitoring in the contact line of the armed forces of Azerbaijan and Nagorno-Karabakh will be held on February 8 near the village of Chemenli, Agdam District, says the press service of the Defence Ministry of Azerbaijan. According to its data, on February 6 and 7, the ceasefire regime was broken on different directions.

The previous OSCE monitoring of the frontline was held on January 18 in the northern direction near the village of Ashagy Veysalli, Khodzhavend District of Azerbaijan. The monitoring passed without incidents, the "News-Azerbaijan" Agency reports.

Let us note here that the Azeri party accuses the Armenian one of breaking the ceasefire in the Gazakh, Terter and Fuzuli directions. It happened, according to the Defence Ministry of Azerbaijan, on February 6-7 in different hours.

According to Azeris, the submachine and machine gun fire was carried out from the positions located on nameless heights of the Noyemberyan District, as well as from similar positions located near the villages of Garakhanbeyli, Ashagy Seidakhmedli and Alkhanly of the Fizuli District, and near the village of Kyzyl Oba of the Terter District. In all the cases the return fire was opened; there are no losses, the "1news.az" reports.

So far, there is no information about the incidents from the Armenian and Karabakh parties.
