NAC: militant involved in terror act at MIA base liquidated in Dagestan

Adam Guseinov, 32, the so-called "Deputy Amir" of Dagestan and the second man in the hierarchy of Dagestani bandit underground, and his common-law wife were shot dead at rendering armed resistance in a special operation in Khasavyurt, the operative headquarters of the Russia's National Counterterrorist Committee (NAC) for Dagestan reports.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that today the CTO (counterterrorist operation) regime was introduced in Severnoe settlement in the outskirt of Khasavyurt, where power agents stormed a private house, where, according to their data, militants were hiding, and, as the attackers assert, refused to surrender. At 3:30 p.m. a skirmish burst out.

According to a source from the NAC, "the casualty was identified as Adam Guseinov, a native of the village of Mutsalaul, the so-called 'commander of the Northern Front of Vilayet Dagestan and Imarat Kavkaz'."

"His supposed common-law wife Sunaya was shot dead together with him. She was armed with a submachine gun and rendered resistance," the "Interfax" quotes the source as saying.

According to the NAC, Adam Guseinov was involved in the terror act committed at the base of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) in October 2010, the RIA "Novosti" reports.

"The agents of the FSB who stormed the house, did not suffer," the NAC said.

Earlier it was reported that two Dagestani law enforcers were wounded in Severnoe, where the CTO regime was introduced this afternoon.
