Organized "Spartak" fans will not participate in Sviridov's commemoration on January 15

None of organized supporters of "Spartak" has any attitude to the action to be held on January 15 in Kronshtadt Boulevard in memory of Yegor Sviridov, who was murdered here at night on December 6, 2010. This was announced by Yegor Petrov, advisor of the director general of the Moscow-based "Spartak" Football Club. However, young people in Moscow and St Petersburg are already preparing for the action.

Earlier it was reported that "Spartak" fans had submitted an application to the Prefecture of the Northern District of Moscow for holding a rally in memory of Yegor Sviridov with supposed participation of 2500-3000 persons. The Prefect of the District Vladimir Silkin said that the action will be allowed.

"I state officially that none of the organized 'Spartak' fans has to do with this action; nobody of them applied for a rally and is not going to taker part in it," said Yegor Petrov.

According to his data, the application was submitted by one of political parties. "The bad news is that some of our fans will still come attracted by the call. It turns out that members of certain political parties will thus shame our football club," Yegor Petrov added but refused to specify the party, the "Gazeta.Ru" writes.

A message appeared on the website of the Department of Transport and Communications of Moscow about changes in routes of public transport on January 15 in the area of Kronshtadt Boulevard. "In connection with holding city events, certain routes of the surface city passenger transport will be changed starting from 10 a.m. on January 15, 2011," runs the message. Kronshtadt Boulevard will be closed for all types of vehicles from Narva to Onega Streets.

It is already known that an action in memory of Yegor Sviridov, organized by the Movement Against Illegal Immigration (MAII), will be held on January 15 in St Petersburg. The city committee on legality has coordinated with the activists of the movement a rally at the "Yubileiny Sports Complex, the RIA "Novosti" reports. The agreed 1500 participants will represent the MAII, "The Other Russia" and fans' organizations. After the rally, a funeral service will be held in the Cathedral of Prince Vladimir.
