People's Party holds rally in the capital of Armenia

The People's Party, its supporters, as well as many of the viewers of the TV Channel "ALM", will continue their struggle for justice. This was stated by Tigran Karapetyan, leader of the People's Party and the owner of the "ALM", at a rally in Yerevan, where about one thousand persons gathered.

Let us remind you that the "ALM" lost its broadcasting license on December 16, 2010, as a result of a tender for television frequencies held by the National Commission on Television and Radio of Armenia. Tigran Karapetyan believes that his channel was deprived of its license for political reasons.

"I'm at war for justice not only for the 'ALM' TV, but also for other TV broadcasters, which also lost their licenses: 'GALA' and 'A1+'," Tigran Karepetyan said to the audience of the rally.

There were no posters at the rally. The people who grouped in a small area, directly adjacent to the podium of the rally, were scanning from time to time: "Justice!"

Close to the rally a few police units settled; they behave loyally. The action passed without incidents.
