Director of a technical secondary school in Krasnodar region suspected of damnification to the institution to a sum of 13 million rubles

Vitaly Gordeev, Director of Federal state educational institution of secondary professional education "Agricultural  technical secondary school of Anapa", is suspected of abuse of authority and damnification to the school to a sum of over 13 million rubles. 

"During an inspection carried out by Inter-district public prosecutor's office of Anapa it was established that the director of the technical school had concluded contracts with close corporation "'Nadezhda' Sanatorium" and limited company "Yug-Status" on rendering services for accommodation of holidaymakers in the dormitory", a report of Public prosecutor's office of Krasnodar region runs.

Public prosecutor's office of the region arrived at the conclusion that the director of the technical school by leasing housing premises in the dormitories to the holidaymakers of close corporation "Nadezhda" Sanatorium" and limited company "Yug-Status" had inflicted a damage to the technical school in form of receiving 13 million rubles less than due payment. The investigators state that in this way the rights of the students who were refused providing rooms in the dormitories were violated.

According to the investigation's version, leasing federal property to commercial organizations by the director was connected with violation of legal regulations, i.e. it was done without the owner's consent or tender (auction) for a right of concluding contracts. 

Based on the results of public prosecutor's inspection criminal proceedings were started against Gordeev according to part 1, clause 286 of the Criminal code of the Russian Federation (abuse of authority), the web-site of regional Public prosecutor's office reports.

Upon the results of activities in 2009 Agricultural technical secondary school of Anapa was included into the list of one hundred best educational institutions of secondary professional education (SPE) of Russia and its director Vitaly Gordeev was granted the honorary title "Director of the Year". In 2002 candidate of agricultural sciences Vitaly Gorgeev also got the title "Director of the Year", anapa.ru reports.
