Deputy Chief of the headquarters of a military unit dislocated in Ingushetia wounded in an explosion in Vladikavkaz

This morning an explosive device was activated in Vladikavkaz, in a car with Deputy Chief of the headquarters of a military unit dislocated in Ingushetia inside it. The officer was taken to hospital with grave wounding, Alla Akhpolova, Manager of Press service of the Ministry of Interior Affairs of North Osetia, reported.

According to her, a silver color KIA car exploded at about 7:00 at the exit from Vladikavkaz, in a highway Vladikavkaz - Nazran, when the officer, resident of Vladikavkaz, was on his way to his service place in Ingushetia.

According to a preliminary conclusion of an operational-investigative group, the explosion had been caused by an unidentified explosive device without a cover put under the left bumper of the front part of the car. The investigators do not rule out that the bomb had a timer, RIA "Novosti" reports.
