Assault upon ex-militiaman in Dagestan
An ex-officer of the republican riot squad was attacked last night in the village of Bairamaul, Khasavyurt district, a source in law enforcement bodies of the republic reported.
The incident took place at about 22:00 Moscow time, December, 27.
Unidentified people opened fire upon Rustam Davletgerov's car. Ex-militiaman got several wounds and was taken to hospital, RIA "Dagestan" reports.
One of the versions of the assault is connected with the injured person's work in the bodies of interior affairs, "Interfax" reports.
