Two persons suffer in explosion in Dagestan

As a result of an explosion of a homemade explosive device near a trading house in the Dagestani capital Makhachkala, two persons were injured.

As reported by a source from the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Dagestan, a self-made explosive device was planted into a garbage bin in Ahmet-Khan Sultan Street near the trading house "Ilham" and was triggered at about 6:45 p.m.

"At that moment, a taxi stopped nearby. The blast wounded the driver and a woman, his passenger; both were hospitalized. An operative-investigatory unit is examining the place," the "Interfax" quotes its source from the press service of the local MIA.
