Over 700 detained in Moscow; the crowd breaks up

More than 700 persons have been detained in Moscow during the unrest. Many of them had traumatic and edged weapons, truncheons and electric shockers on them, which were confiscated. Several victims are reported. The protesters, who gathered near the Kiev Railway Station, disperse.

As reported by the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent from the venue, the building of the Station is cordoned by soldiers of internal troops, OMON (special militia) and special-purpose fighters.

The square near the "Evropeiskiy" shopping centre entrances to the "Kievskaya" metro station are under control of dog handlers with dogs. These measures were taken in connection with reports about a possible terror act in the shopping centre.

The access to Evropeiskaya Square is blocked; OMON fighters are putting on masks. The journalists present in the square are demanded to present their IDs. There are practically no Caucasians in the square near the shopping centre; they were ousted away by the OMON.

The McDonald's and all the surrounding shops are closed. The militia has also blocked all the exits to the Red Square.

According to the photographer Ilya Varlamov, who reports in his Twitter, the square near the Kiev Railway Station is almost empty, people are going away.

About 600 persons launched a march from the Kiev Square. Young people were shouting nationalist slogans, including with the use of obscene language. Militiamen and OMON fighters accompanied the march and detained several most active participants of the procession.

Some demonstrators (about 350-450 persons) tried to use fires during the march.

According to some sources, rumours appeared in the crowd of radically-tuned fans that about 200 Caucasians had grouped behind the McDonald's in Bolshaya Dorogomilovskaya Street. That is why, the nationalists attempted to cross the street, the "Gazeta.Ru" reports.

Currently, mass detentions are on in Bolshaya Dorogomilovskaya Street, the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent reports from the venue. Detention began after the crowd began shouting: "Russia - for Russians" and "Moscow - for Muscovites".

According to recent data, more than 200 people were blocked by militiamen near the McDonald's, the RIA "Novosti" reports.

A clash between young radicals and natives from the Caucasus took place at the "Park Kultury" metro station; there is a victim, a source from law enforcement bodies reports.

According to his story, doctors received no data about any victims in the events near the Kiev Railway Station, the "Interfax" reports.

Smolenskaya Square has also become a gathering place for nationalist-minded youth. The militia organized several block posts there and are searching young people. Many of them are detained. 7 buses with detainees have already departed from the square, the "Echo Moskvy" Radio reports.

It was earlier reported that in the vicinity of Smolenskaya Embankment there was a clash between a group of youngsters from the Caucasus and local radicals; at least five persons suffered. Fighters were armed with bats and iron bars. Servicemen of the Interior Troops of the Russian MIA are on duty near the bridge there.

A large column of young people looking like football fans has gathered near the "Airport" metro station and moves toward the centre, the "Kommersant-FM" Radio reports with reference to the blogger libertad.
