Militiaman shot dead in Dagestan

Yesterday, on December 13, in the evening, unidentified criminals opened fire at a Kizlyar OVD (Interior Division) officer, who died in place from gunshot wounds.

As reported by the spokesman of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) of Dagestan, the unidentified criminals shot the militiaman dead through the window of the house at about 8:30 p.m. in the village of Krasny Voskhod, Kizlyar District.

The search of the attackers hot on the trail was fruitless, the RIA "Dagestan" reports.

On the same day, a skirmish with the militia burst out in the centre of Makhachkala, in which one person was wounded.
