Imam killed in Karabudakhkent district of Dagestan

An imam of the mosque of the village of Gubden, Karabudakhkent district, was shot down and died from the wounding in hospital.

"An unidentified person fired at Gazimagomed Gajimagomedov who was standing near his house. The fifty-three-year-old man died from wounding in his spin and neck in the Central district hospital of the village of Karabudakhkent, a source in the republican law enforcement bodies reported.

According to the information from a representative of the Ministry of Interior Affairs, the murder was committed at night of December, 11.

The murder of the imam is under investigation, RIA "Dagestan" reports.
