"The Day of Anger" organized by the activists of the "Left Front" in Rostov-on-Don was planned for Sunday, December, 12, however the opposition failed to hold the meeting because of a warning of its dispersal from riot squad.

"At the appointed time over 50 riot squad servicemen were on duty in the square together with several paddy wagons placed along the edges of the square. Roman Mosintsev, Deputy chief of militia department No 3, came up to Vladimir Ryazansev and Oleg Prudnikov who had arrived at the square with a group of activists, organizers of the action, and brought a "notice of inadmissibility of extremist actions", Press service of the "Left Front" reports.

According to the information from the organizers of the action, Mosintsev in an oral talk "adviced the oppositionists to "see Nurgaiev's yesterday's TV message" and informed that "militia had got instructions from Nurgaiev on dispersal of "your "Left Front" using the whole complex of special facilities" "for both in Moscow and in our city the situation is restless because of you".

The organizers of "The Day of Anger" say that not wishing to be detained once again they decided to postpone the action, Gazeta.ru reports.
