Militia post fired upon in Dagestan, at the drive to Khasavyurt

In the evening of December, 9, in Dagestan unidentified people fired upon a Khasavyurt municipal entrance post "Don" with five militiamen there. According to one source, a militiaman was wounded, another one reports two wounded officers of the Ministry of Interior Affairs.

The incident took place at about 21:10. Three strangers fired upon the militia post from self-firers and escaped in a home-produced car.

"Vulkan-3" operation regime was established in the town, RIA "Dagestan" reports.

After the firing, during mopping up the neighbourhood, in approximately 100 meters distance from the post, militiamen discovered a home-made explosive device of about 3 kg power trolyl equivalent which was defused, "Rosbalt" reports.

On the same day at about 18:00 a militiaman got wounded as a result of firing upon a militia post in Kaspiisk.
