Military unit and OVD shelled in Dagestan

At night on November 19, unidentified assailants shelled the military unit and police station in the village of Khunzakh, the Khunzakh District, with grenade launchers; no one was hurt.

"Around midnight, unidentified attackers made grenade launcher shots at the OVD (Interior Division) building, which was damaged, and later - the military unit, where frontier guards are deployed," said the spokesperson of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Dagestan.

In both cases, the attackers managed to disappear. "There are no casualties or victims," added the source as quoted by the RIA "Novosti".

As a result of the attack, a fire burst out in Military Unit No. 2104. Currently, the soldiers are trying to extinguish it. Several buildings were damaged, the "Gazeta.Ru" writes.
