Next sitting of Kadyrov vs. Orlov trial will hear defence witnesses
On November 25, the session of the Khamovniki Magistrate Court in Moscow, which considers the criminal lawsuit of Chechen President Ramzan Kadyrov to Oleg Orlov, head of the Human Rights Centre (HRC) "Memorial", will hear the defence and so-called "neutral" witnesses, said Genry Reznik, the defendant's advocate.
As reported by Oleg Orlov himself, the court will hear to the press secretary of the HRC "Memorial" and some other staff, who "will only confirm the fact that the words addressed to Kadyrov were really pronounced and posted on the website of the "Memorial".
"Other witnesses - Svetlana Gannushkina, head of the 'Civil Assistance' Committee, and Alexander Cherkasov, a board member of the 'Memorial', - will evidence directly on the merits," Oleg Orlov told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.
During the session on November 25, according to the defence, one more witness will also speak, who had not yet testified at the preliminary investigation; the person was not specified.
