A Russian serviceman perished as a result of an explosion in the South-West of Chechnya

A serviceman of Inner troops of the Ministry of Interior Affairs of Russia perished on November, 9, in the piedmont Urus-Martan district of Chechnya as a result of an explosion of a fougasse.

"Yesterday during a reconnaissance and search operation carried out by the servicemen of a unit of Inner troops in a forest massif near the settlement of Tangi-Chu, Urus-Martan district, an explosive device of an unidentified type was activated. As a result, one of the soldiers of contract service got multiple missile wounds of lower extremities and body and died on the way to hospital", a reporter of "Caucasian Knot" was told in the military commandant's office of Chechnya.

Nobody else has been injured in the explosion of the fougasse.
