Nagorno-Karabakh and Azerbaijan exchange casualties

Today, Nagorno-Karabakh has handed over the bodies of two Azerbaijani soldiers - Mubariz Ibragimov and Farid Akhmedov - to the Azerbaijani party. In return, Karabakh received the body of Gavrosh Arustamyan, 86.

The exchange procedure took place near the village of Bash Karvend in the Aghdam direction of the contact between the armed forces of Nagorno-Karabakh and Azerbaijan, under the mediation of the Stepanakert office of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC).

The State Commission of Nagorno-Karabakh for POWs (Prisoners of War), Hostages and Missing Persons reports that the exchange took place under all the rules and without incidents.

Azerbaijani militaries Mubariz Ibragimov and Farid Akhmedov perished in the armed clash in the border of Nagorno-Karabakh and Azerbaijan, the former - on June 18, and the latter - on September 4.
