Two soldiers lost in special operation in Dagestan

According to preliminary data, in the course of a special operation in Dagestan conducted by power agents in the border of the Karabudakhkent and Kayakent Districts near the city of Izberbash, there are losses on both sides.

As previously reported by the "Caucasian Knot", today a group of suspected militants was blocked near the town of Izberbash in a wooded area; then, the counterterrorist operation (CTO) regime was introduced in the district.

The RIA "Dagestan" reports with reference to a source from the local law enforcement bodies that during the armed clash two servicemen of the Internal Troops of the Russian MIA received fatal injuries; one serviceman was taken to hospital.

Law enforcers of the Kayakent District report that in the venue of the operation "a militant's body can be seen"; but it is not possible yet to get to it and try to identify it.

The warfare zone is still under the CTO regime, the RIA "Novosti" reports.
